Graduates earn 1,140 degrees, certificates from George Fox University


About 24.1 percent of the 1,140 degrees and certificates handed out by the George Fox University in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Newberg conferred 207 bachelor's degrees and 61 master's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Data shows the school gave out 123 bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General, followed by 106 master's degrees in Teacher Education, Multiple Levels and 61 master's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General.

The university enrolled 4,139 students for 2016-17, including 2,707 in undergraduate programs and 1,432 in graduate programs.
