About 24.3 percent of the 263 degrees and certificates handed out by the Corban University in 2016-17 were to students in Education programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Salem conferred 51 bachelor's degrees and 13 master's degrees in Education programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Education, General. Data shows the school gave out 51 bachelor's degrees in Education, General, followed by 41 bachelor's degrees in Psychology, General and 40 bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General.
The university enrolled 1,193 students for 2016-17, including 1,022 in undergraduate programs and 171 in graduate programs.
