About 42.9 percent of the 1,117 degrees and certificates handed out by the Clackamas Community College in 2016-17 were to students in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in City conferred 479 associate's degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Data shows the school gave out 479 associate's degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies, followed by 84 associate's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General and 29 certificates in Retailing and Retail Operations.

The college enrolled 6,777 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
