About 51.8 percent of the 628 degrees and certificates handed out by the Pioneer Pacific College in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Wilsonville conferred 242 certificates and 78 associate's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.
But the single most popular program was for a certificate in Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse Training. Data shows the school gave out 127 certificates in Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse Training, followed by 114 certificates in Medical/Clinical Assistant and 101 associate's degrees in Restaurant/Food Services Management.
The college enrolled 1,078 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
