Graduates earn 264 degrees from Northwest Christian University


About 28.8 percent of the 264 degrees and certificates handed out by Northwest Christian University in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Eugene conferred 40 bachelor's degrees and 36 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 34 master's degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 29 bachelor's degrees in nursing administration and 20 bachelor's degrees in "other" multi-/interdisciplinary studies.

The university enrolled 798 students for 2017-18, including 605 in undergraduate programs and 193 in graduate programs.
